Has anyone gotten XGL to run on Ubuntu? I have a Nvidia Geforce2(yay) but have yet to suceed installing xgl. Would it be a good idea to do a fresh installation of it (ie: I reinstall ubuntu)? Any tips? Thanks.

I would have to say Ubuntu. I have tried Gentoo, but really didn't favor it as it was the first linux OS I had ever used. Then I switched to Ubuntu. From my experiance, it has been the easiest to adapt. Many programs have gui's so Windows users don't feel "different" when they use a Terminal. :P

Yeah, I know, but after I upgrade to Dapper Drake, everything wasn't really going my way. I'll try the loki installer.
