    ME, Good or bad?

    Ha! I have the same problem NoxPT. My friend has ME and can't understand why i have windows 3.1,95,95b,98,98SE,2000,and XP pro and skipped over ME. Anyway I have him converted, gonna install XP Pro on his system tommorow ;) Then he will see what he's been missing.

    I would go with the 512 stick. Then you can add another later if you want. without taking up too many slots.

    xp is awesome

    If you have an Audigy card you gotta download new drivers to get it to work. Atleast I did. Other than that XP is oh so sweet so far.

    A7M266 - I never installed Asus files

    If you move to Windows XP it will install all the drivers you need for that board. But in 2000 i would install off the cd then look for the updates.

    TV-out on Visiontek GF3 Ti200??

    NVIDIA-based boards use third-party chips for their TV-Out solutions, usually either a Conexant or a Chrontel chip. The Visiontek GF3's use the (Conexant Bt868KRF TV-Out encoder chip) As for the quality I don't know I have that same card but I haven?t tried the tv out yet.

    Nvidia GF4 demos work for GF3 !!!!
