It was the Ultra PSU causing the problem. I just put in a Corsair HX520 and so far so good. COD4 is running on high full setting again. Thanks for all the help everyone. Allen

It was the power supply. I just put a Corsair HX520W PSU in and so far so good. COD4 works on high res, no weird start up issues. Thanks everyone for your help and input. Allen

At this point I have not counted anything out. I have a new PSU coming from Newegg, I went with the Corsair 520HX. I dont even want to try a stress test as the problem is getting worse, it seems to take less and less to cause it to power down. I think I will take the 8800GT out for the time...

I have checked it, I even took it out and reseated the card. Some folks on a couple other forums are leaning to this being a PSU problem. Whatever is going on, its getting worse.

Just talked with someone from EVGA tech support, he also feels this sounds like a power supply problem. You guys have any suggestions on brands?

I tried lowering the clock speed, it still does it. It doesnt go blank and reboot, it literally turns off, no fans, no lights, nothing. Its like someone turned it off. In about 2-3 seconds it will come back on and reboot. It actually just did this as windows was loading my desktop, just...

Enermax out. Is the Corsair a good model? I am definitely going to order one tonight, Ive got to start somewhere to figure this out . It just died on me a minute ago doing nothing?? Also the longer the computer is w/out power, the harder is to get to restart.

Ok, so it is possible it could have become weaker to some degree. I am also wondering if it could have been partially damaged when it was at this other location since that it is when this problem seemed to start, for all I know the outlet wasnt wired correctly, who knows. Both fans are working...

COD2 is also a 3D game though, correct? It will run at a 1024x768 res and 4X AA. COD4 used to run like this as well, up until Friday after moving my computer. Now it will run at 640X480 and 4X AA, but with an 800X600 resolution it wont it even run with 2X AA. Crysis has this same issue...

Yeah, the problem is I don't anyone with anything over 250W and I doubt that would help prove much. Any other possibilities?

Ok, I tried disconnecting all the fans and the second optical drive, same thing, it completely shuts down like someone hit the power switch, then a couple seconds later it reboots.

Nothing has been overclocked, its all at stock settings. My mobo wont allow any adjustments, its all at factory settings if you will. I have to keep one DVD drive though, in order to test the game, but I will try the rest.
