Help fight Cancer !!!! Improve the lives of children !!

Fixing the stats would be good. My fastest machine does not seem to be able to process any work. One of my other machines seems to be processing, but both show less work units completed than were done 3 days ago. I will pull my resources off this project for now, and wait until the stats are...

Help fight Cancer !!!! Improve the lives of children !!

It appears from my end that there is something wrong with the stats and/or client...one of my machines can't get any work to process, and the stats have stayed the same for at least two days, even though the machines are processing. Clients match the web stats, but both are two days (at least)...

alpha_7x returns to Team AnandTech SETI :-)

Hello again.. And I must say that it was the e-mail from Smokeball that brought me back...although I was only gone 2 days and didn't crunch any WU's ;) I hadn't done any distributing computing for a year or so for a variety of reasons, the California energy crunch and my PG&E bill being one of...

    Milestone Makers for 02/12/01!

Its nice to hit a milestone...next up, 1M...unfortunately, I have had to severely cut back my home herd due to the rip-off energy costs here in California. I will stick around until I am eligible for the hot tub, though...I hope it comes with a solar heater!

So what do you get from overclocking anyway?

I have been overclocking since I got a Celeron 266 (cacheless) and ran it at 400 for a long time. Now I have 3 PIII 650's oc'd to 866, a PIII 500 (512K cache) running at 566, a Celeron 566 at 850, and an AMD K6-2 350 runnning at 400. All the systems are rock steady. So what do you get? More...

    Whoa... Congrats DPC.

Congratulations DPC for becoming #1 in rc5! I am sure you will enjoy the view from the top just as we have. Only time will tell what the final outcome will be...I for one enjoy the competition and rivalry between the two teams. And now, on to try to reclaim the #1 spot, and to FIND THE KEY!

    Mika is out of blocks!

Yep, I noticed that when it wouldn't give me any this morning. The round-robin proxies still have some, and most of the dnet proxies have them...except for one of the MtView proxies, which shows rc5 buffers of -2257/70...never saw a negative number in-buffer before!

Mika's proxy is holding 13K blocks to flush..?

I notice that at the time of this post, Mika's is holding on to over 13.8K rc5 blocks that it is waiting to flush. Is this normal?

rc5 distributed client and matrox card?

Don't know about that particular card, but I run a few boxes with Matrox Mystique cards and dnet client...try resizing the dnet client window...that cleared up some gunk on a couple of work machines.

New OS's for friends rack.. Which goes first?

My suggestion: Load 98 first...put it on a fat16 partition, because NT4 cannot read/see a fat32 partition. Then install NT4, and use its own NTloader to switch between 98 and NT. Good luck...

Possible new team member needs help with temperature monitoring

Try this link to Motherboard Monitor version 5.03 and see if that will work for you.

Why are dnet's stats *still* off?

I understand it may time to recover the missing stats, but I was hoping that they would have corrected the problem so that the stats for the days following the discovery of the error would have been correct. But, apparently they are not.
