Dood you won't even come close to my "very old and ancient" RKL build for a million years, so why you keep talking? :p

Question Is "the writing on the wall" - the end for enthusiasts? [LTT]

Well placed fine and great gent. I'm only a humble screenwriter and could work well in either the MAC or PC environment. Yet, I do so LOVE the PC and all it's interchangeable ultra-high speed componentry.

And you actually think the video is something more than that?

Question Is "the writing on the wall" - the end for enthusiasts? [LTT]

LTT is simply TAKING your money. And they are very happy to do just that. If you decide against using your own brain, and jump on the nearest bandwagon, every smarter individual on this planet will extract money from you on a daily basis. Stand up, SAY NO and use your own brain! :)

I think youtubers enjoy posting videos like this one that heavily monetize their algorithm. :)

Pictures that prove Rocket Lake was an amazing platform if you grabbed the right mobo and right mem kits - I realize for most enthusiasts RKL was a true dud, but it didn't have to be. So many enthusiasts, like yourself don't know about the Hynix DJR DDR4 kits and how well they overclock with...

I've ran AMD graphics cards for the last 10years. Only recently moved to an Nvidia workstation card because the AMD update from my AMD WX-4100 only uses 4lanes and 4GB of memory. And honestly, it's kinda ugly. Whereas NVidia is offering an SFF workstation card with 12GB of memory and uses all...

RKL was extremely poor, unless you grabbed an ROG Z590 Apex motherboard and a small number of very QVL specific high-speed mem kits. ;) Haters gonna hate, I guess. 5066 CL17, 5333 CL19, 5600 CL20, 5866 CL21 all possible with ambient air.

Question Raptor Lake - Official Thread

I LOVE IT! :p Made the move to open air chassis sometime in 2015 with a CaseLabs S8 test bench, does anyone remember those? Then grabbed a 2nd CL test bench, and currently using a Dimastech Mini V2 test bench as 2ndary rig and the Primochill SX Pro test bench as primary rig. Ah, those builds...

Question Raptor Lake - Official Thread

I seem to be the odd man out with RKL, must've gotten lucky. ;) I do know of another enthusiast "there is another" who purchased the same motherboard and same mem kit as I did, only change - he's using an 11900K, and he's able to achieve ALL my results along with the 6133Mhz super mem speed...

My twenty cents: If you upgrade every other gen, only purchase the odd number chipsets. Z390 Z590 Z790 Z990 Z1190 Coffee Rocket Raptor Arrow Nova I don't even know which is tik and which is tok anymore, but the even number chipsets seem to always introduce brand new tech, often times not...
