    So if you replaced your n600c hard drive, did you pull off the aluminum foil which was wrapped on the old drive? It was glued, and can not be taken off. I try to use it on the new drive.

    Thanks for your information. But these 2 torx screws on my HD is so tight, I can not use any tools to remove it. I bought a T-6 torx screwdriver, still too big for the screws.

    How did you replace the HD on N600c? I can not remove the screws on the HD. Compaq use some weird small screws which I have no tools can fit for.

    So what brand do you finally get? All hitachi? Did anybody installed it, and how's the result? Is it really fast?
