I work in 3d animation and archviz. Believe me I did the research - This is the cheapest way to really help my performance. You can get some cheap 4gb of old ram and its still way faster than a raptor. I just need to know when where how why they are available. Its such a good idea, if Gigabyte...
I agree those old "style" keyboards have the best feedback for typing. However, I still prefer my MS natural "split" - It just eliminated those red painful palms I used to always get. Also I think the split shape really adds to the typing experience and makes it fun (yes fun) to write stuff...
Ok - HAve found the culprit. (no thanks to tech support at Razer who sent me a few precomposed automated replies mentioning some fixes coming up in future driver packs)
The issue: the original windows mouse control center still applies even after full Razer customizer install. Having...
The shape (took me a while to realize) is intended for only two fingers over the top of the mouse - instead of the standard three on other mice. No room for three fingers to rest on the top. Other than that the mouse sits really low and flat on the pad - Is it supposed to be aerodynamic ...
Basically - about to get second monitor and wondering if it will be possible to use the 90 degree flip - on one monitor in the dual setup while leaving the second as it is.
I'm using ati 9800 pro at the moment.
Well as for the keyboard - I used to suffer as u describe but it all ended as soon as I got one of those ergonomic keyboards (yes the ugly one with the split keyboard and the huge hand rest). The one I have is by microsoft but i'm sure u can find others. The split keys setup is strange for the...
Yes.
I really believe the mouse pad (assuming you have a decent mouse) and chair you use are two of the most influencial variables to a computing experience. Anyone who says they don't use a pad just hasn't tried using a good one. It makes a big difference. same goes for the chair.
Got the steelpad S&S a couple weeks ago. Very nice - comes with "pad surfers" (teflon mouse feet) and case. It was very good out of the box and keeps getting better with use - - mouse glides very smooth ( in a good way) and very precise as well. I have always used a cloth top pad and was...
Well, The owner huh?
I though it was just someone on their payrol.
Anyways, I think this sort of activity only gives companies a bad name and turns people off. If on the other hand this "slick" person were to identify himself as an employee of (or indeed owner in this case) a certain...
hmmm......slickdude uses slicksurf ....... and joins now just in time to reply to your question....... what a coincidence eh? and what a surprise - he loves them, they work great and last forever.....
This might help - if not theres others like it that might.

You might want to try what is described in this discussion first though.

Thanks Mem - I enjoyed reading that. I do wonder though - the front bottons seem smaller than on my current mouse.....which by the way looks nothing like the IME 3 that's seen in the article....
As to comfort - yes it is subjective but I would like to hear people's subjective views on...
