    Let's talk about washers and dryers

    Got my Kennmore Elite front load washer/dryer from the Sears outlet store. Had the same warranty as "new" and only had a small scratch on the side. $1200 for both, and they were the top of the line when we bought them a few years ago. Washer alone was like $1499 new. Less water used, quieter...

    Guy owes me money, ignoring me

    While I agree with you on this, there are lines that are crossed. At some point, it becomes too much of a liability to deal with certain customers, and you need to end that business relationship. I had a client that was almost impossible to deal with. I ended the relationship, and did so on a...

    Kia Quality

    I'm personally not a Kia fan at all. We had a 2001 Sportage, and that thing was a complete rattle trap. We constantly had it in to the dealership for little issues here and there. The clutch was weak, and the throwout bearing was going out. The interior was spartan at best, completely...

    Best way to remove scrapes, dings and scratches

    QFT!! Very good advice... let the paint cure first. That was one of the most important things we learned back in tech college. Also be careful about curing the surface too quickly... such as leaving it in direct sunlight or using a heat gun. This can cause the surface to skin over too quickly...

    My bicycle road rage story.

    QFT!!! Wow... you summed that up perfectly. I have no issues with bicycles. Heck, I'd ride one to work if I didn't have a 75 mile per day commute. And no, I can't move closer to work. I can't afford to pay $700,000 for a postage stamp sized house 5 minutes from my office. But oh how I would love...

    15" Kicker L7 in a house room

    you should plug your driver and cabinet specs into WinISD and see what kind of response curve you get. I'm not much into car audio anymore, but I have 2 JBL 2240H 18"s being driven with a QSC PLX-3002 right now. Very clean, and they sound great! Actually hit lower than my old dual 18" cabs...

    Finally got around to putting a system in the Durango, what do you think?

    Meh, nothing wrong with a Durango. My wife drives one, and loves it. It gets crappy mileage, but she very seldom goes anywhere. It looks decent, is paid off, has all wheel drive, has yet to break down and... most importantly... is NOT a minivan! It's her car, and as long as she's happy, I don't...

    My first child was born today!

    Congrats!!! I'm the father of 2 girls myself... 1 and 2 1/2. I actually missed the birth of my first... I was on a plane home from Boston. My wife was 3 weeks early! While it was a bummer, nothing can take away from the joy I get every time I see my babies. There is no greater joy in life! Enjoy it!

    Don't you hate it when you get invited to "fake" parties by co-workers?

    QFT!!! My wife was sick almost the entire 9 months of her second pregnancy. I would gladly work the rest of my life to not have to endure half of what she did. Then again, she is a stay at home mom, so no coworkers were affected. I can see both sides of the arguement... but it all comes down...

    Cloning IDE---->SCSI drive question

    You might also try this... http://ping.windowsdream.com/ So is the OS also installed on this IDE drive, or is this just a data drive with a boot partition on a different drive that is still functioning? If this is just data and no OS, it should be a no brainer. Ghost, PING, choose your...
