    Router WAN to LAN question

that's actually what I was thinking, that they were just turning on that 1 mode that I didn't need, I am kinda confused, do they actually give away redacted hardware and then call it "gonna turn bridge mode on for u" which is redacted up? Profanity is not allowed in the tech forums. AT Mod...

    Router WAN to LAN question

Hello! I have a crappy Speedport w724v type ci router/modem from T-Com and I want to use my Asus RT-AC51U (which is a router only) to be the main router that handles the connection, services, QoS I should connect wan-lan? I read somewhere that lan-lan first router handles everything, I think...

    Anti-flicker monitors is expensive?

ye, very little to do with flicker, only that connecting a AMD card and freesync on makes every game menu flicker like hell, every video flickers on full screen. NOTHING TO DO WITH FLICKER AT ALL. marketing bs? u have brain issues then, I just made specific issues with specific hardware I used...

On a budget, looking for flat ~32" 1080p Freesync

but what's wrong with 1440, rx580 seems like a decent card... looking for benchmarks, playing on latest games on high quality, 1440p with rx580 u get from 45-75 fps. obv cpu matters and all that. I'd never care for screen size, I'd always go for 144Hz, me luv 144Hz. But obv everyone has own...

    Anti-flicker monitors is expensive?

then u need to look closer, I didn't made that video, it is flickering, mildly even I had that with freesync in full screen watching movies and in BF4 menu for example, it flickered a hell lot more, but I didn't had flickering like this guy 24/7 u need to read more carefully, I did try literally...

    G-sync necessary?

I tried different drivers, nothing helped. And there is no setting for blur reduction/ULMB, as far as I know ULMB is something that comes with G-Sync monitors... and can be used only at certian refresh rates like 100 120 when g-sync is turned off

    G-sync necessary?

I use currently, playing BF4 with wandering fps, I never noticed screen tearing tbh I just prefer to get a 144Hz rather, and all monitors basically have freesync, since it's free.. manufacturers give it out for free just to get ahead of pricy g-sync module monitors that cost ~120€ extra for...

Explain me like I'm 5: distinction between IPS, TN panel, and *mostly* LED displays

I am a noob but I do know that if u look for monitors being a GEIMUR, I said it sarcasticly, TN have 1ms response time, IPS 4ms, if that matters :P

    G-sync necessary?

when u write like that, u never seen a 144Hz before, any game u play, also RPG, 144Hz is what removes choppyness when u turn around ur axis. I played currently on 144Hz with fps going free above and below and I don't see any tearing even it's probably happening, but that's the beauty with 144Hz...

Can someone explain this to me?

because it's a premium product and they put it in almost every monitor that comes now, they can charge a few more bucks :<, where ppl like u and me would look at it like.. omg I didn't want to pay few extra bucks for those speakers I will never use some ppl with money will be happy to have them...

    144hz refresh question

but if u watch some gsync vs vsync vs no sync videos, u can't really see the difference that easy... At least I couldn't, I never noticed it, using from super old 60Hz to a 144Hz display.. this is how a extreme case would look like: most likely cuz it's below 60 FPS and probably on a 60Hz...

    144hz refresh question

I found this post from someone on a forum and it alligns with the video of g-sync explanation of nvidia: "Tearing" in PC games occurs when your GPU is putting out frames faster OR slower than your monitor's refresh rate. If you have a 144hz monitor, that means your monitor is refreshing the...

    144hz refresh question

I am a noob, but I research quiet a lot. edit: anything above or below the refresh rate of ur monitor can cause screen tearing, so if u have 60Hz monitor u want ur fps at 60 stable, with 144Hz it occurs less and is less noticable but u still want it at 144Hz. Vsync is supposed to lock ur fps to...
