hi all, this is my current plan given if i get all the part here is for putting the membrane http://www.ezscreen.com/amd.html. the lcd and controller is from my old dell notebook.

I've heard Hauppauge wintv pvr 150 is pretty good.

I want to assembly my own touch screen lcd. I was thinking to use some panel I pulled out from old notebook. After researching I still unsure whether I should buy a LCD controller. Anybody have good resources in regards to this mater ? Anybody know where I can get cheap touchscreen...

Just want to give an update, Finally I got my new motherboard for $53 it's an ECS. Now my system up and running. Thanks for anyone who posted response. aj

sorry for the confusion, I've tried several tests, I 've tried to reformat my drive and reinstall the xp, so I boot using Windows xP install cd. But I can't even start the installation program, it shut down when loading keyboard.dll I've tried to boot with windows xp install cd with...

yes it is a sp2 and already run with some tools from norton prior to this. Moreover, I had test boot up using windows XP cd with different hard disk. It loads the initial windows installation until it loads keboayds..dll file and the system turn off by itself.

that's what i tought also, but then I reboot it using windows xp CD boot disk without the same hard disk connected. It does not report any error, it just shut down.

Last night my comp can't see my usb cd rom I plug in after I start my windows xp. I reboot my comp and windows xp loaded until it says something about lsass.exe initialization error before it turn off by itself. I disconnect my network cable and boot from cd-rom to make sure it is not a worm...
