not to mention i think you only get range anxiety only during the first EV, and then after that, its pretty much moot, unless you really don't pay attention to the charge, and your driving out to the middle of nowhere.
IF you can get them...
Can i start playing my tiny as heck violin in how difficult it was to get my 7960X, and how many secret hand shakes i had to learn along with how to avoid scalper hell on the cpu.
Actually its only good for 8 yrs.. and doesn't apply to used cars after 4.
Lastly i believe you need to report milage to your insurance company in order to get a renewal, and you need to present proof of insurance to the DMV for a registration.
So there is always some form of tracking done...
which is why i say AMD can not be trusted with HEDT.
On top we can't even overclock them without voiding any support / warrenty they have.
I love AMD, but i don't love what they did to HEDT.
However its the only way i can get the required PCI-E Lanes, and somewhat decient gaming...
and people were raging at intel for making the XE saphire ridge cpu expensive.
I dont think intel has ever had a HEDT that had a msrp of $12000.
At that point i dont even think that could be called a HEDT but a full out Workstation, as there is no Enthusiast meaning in a price tag that...
i thought a smog check was mandatory for registration renewal in most states every several years.
If its not, im pretty sure they don't even care about enforcing the tax on road ways as its mostly just paved dirt or don't even have a significant amount of EV's to even need to enforce this tax...
I would be fine paying a tax on my EV, if they would actually fix roads, and not launder it somewhere else like california always does.
But money is NEVER used as intended in my state, and always ends up going inside someone's matress or under the sofa seat.
yeah under normal expectations this is true.... then this stupid little CPU gave me all hell...

Also remember my famous statement in that thread:
lol... still using a similar yet maybe a platinum plated...
Being a Threadripper 7960X owner:
i can say you can not trust AMD with HEDT, and at its value point your probably better off getting a EPYC and a regular Ryzen 9 X3D desktop. If you can afford one, this is probably a much better solution, and use both on a dedicated KVM to flip between...
the G1 has a dedicated heatsink, can handle brighter loads, and has greater burn in protection then all the other OLED's on the market straight up.
The only OLED that can come close to a G1 is the LG OLED monitor which offers the same heatsink, but is not as bright, but has a DP port.
I...
That's the thing, i feel this was all escalated because of the feud they have against each other and were stuck suffering because of it. They should just be thrown in room together and both should just beat the hell out of each other.
And give our mayor pom poms too while she's at it. That's...
Not to sound like a trump supporter because im really not, but we needed the national guard and also i think we also NEED the marines.
They dont arrest, they protect the federal buildings and workers, so the Police can actually handle the rest.
Otherwise the Police would be so overswamped...
No not with PCI-E 5.0.
I am predicting by the time we hit Gen7 the PCI-E Lanes will be Gen.7 as well, and will probably work itself out as the PCI-E lanes are all tied directly to the CPU now.
Its like how you look at SCI FI movies and see how everything is based off iso crystals or some...
im actually waiting for Ram to go obselete with Gen7 or Gen8 nVME's replacing RAM / Storage all together.
Gen5 is i think considered faster then DDR4 in a RAID-0 utilizing a full 16x PCI-E slot.
I think by Gen7 we may see the DDR slot disappear all together.
