Hey! I am 98% sure the issue is the RAM. I had purchased a 1.5v stick of ram and plugged it in and ended up with the same issue as you. (Nothing displayed on screen). I then went out to Fry's and got a new stick of 1.35v RAM and got the machine working. Its really too bad, Gigabyte didn't...
