As a reseller/builder, I have sold loads of different burners, but the one in my machine is a Plexwriter 12/10/32 IDE!!! SCSI is nice but certainly not worth the extra in this case. I wouldnt swap mine for anything.......except perhaps for a Plextor 24/20/64 when/if it arrives:D

which rev motherboard are you using? I have had major problems with rev 1.0 GA7 ZX but the new rev (1.01) works fine. My Athlon 900 runs at around 40 degrees.
