SO let me get this straight. You can get a DVD-R Panasonic drive from newegg for $400, get the dvd-r media from this place and burn a dvd that will play in most all set top players? I could make a backup of my green mile dvd which keeps giving me fits about a scratch?

I had this problem too. I kept trying driver after driver and none worked but now my hercules drivers work. I don't know why but they do. I can only suggest keep trying drivers until you find one that works.

well, all the hotswap enclosures I find work with 1.6"(half height) drives. i.e. directron but $54? damn. anyone got any cheaper? I wanted to get say 4-5 of these and get 4-5 of the 36gb cheetahs but man that totals up. 3 hotswap enclosures equal another cheetah.

does a geforce3 ti200 work in games in xp? ive tried every driver version and all lockup or bsod ugggh

judt tried dxdiag and it won't even begin to run direct3d tests.... keeps coming up nv4mini or another bsod... ugh

yep. well I broke down and bought an ati rage 128 pci card from a friend. but it still crashes on any opengl games. I've tried the regular hercules drivers and the detenator 2280 drivers. Now I'm going to try the rest of them. Thanks for all the help. -Don

Ok, well I got windows xp to work dual but now I can't get any game to run... civ III thats it. Wolfenstein crashes Pool of Radiance crashes. I don't thin either opengl or directx works. I'm using detenaor 2280. These drivers are the only ones that i can to work normally. Any ideas? Agp...
