I'm having the same issue. Random flashes of artifacts on my screen. It actually caused my computer to BSOD. I have MSI R9 270X. Not sure if I want to install the new BIOS or wait for an official fix....

I tried resetting the cmos but no luck. Like you said, I'll have to disconnect everything and test each component to see what's causing it...
