    I noticed that, I want to fasten the fan directly to the heatsink, but I don't know how. I thought of glueing it to the sink but that would be a little bit harsh. :)

    As I said, my upgrade disk did not ask for proof. It just installed right away.

    I have an upgrade version, and installed it to a clean disk a couple of times, It never asked me for proof if I've owned a previous version (which I do). So my upgrade version is the same as the retail version, but only cheaper.

    during the installation of SP2 you can choose to backup the files it will be replacing, so you can later uninstall it if you have problems (which I doubt). But go ahead, you should have no problems at all
