RS, thanks for the reply, as for the p4s it's not a "great" OC board, nor am i an experienced OC'er ...
i'm not really into gaming (anymore) but i did get an ATI 8500dv card in it which i use it primarily for music/video editing (and some light 3d). i just need a little boost for video...
this may be a n00b question, but i've got an old Socket 478 Asus P4S333 1.7Ghz w/ 1.5gigs of ram
can i slam a newer 3.2gig 800mhz FSB cpu in there w/o problems? or am i limited to, say, a 2.0gig w/ 400mhz FSB?
i really dont want to upgrade MB now, since i'm waiting for my 'dream system'...
well i just called logitech and looks like all is well. A+ for logitech!
they're sending me a new 2300 unit (sub only?) - no hassles, no problems. i don't even have to send in my old unit (anyone want a subwoofer paperweight?) - granted the 2300 is backoreded so it may take up to 5 weeks...
ty1er, i'm in the same boat.
i recently came back from a trip and before i left my speakers were in perfect condition. when i returned i noticed a horrible pop/click static from the speaker at even the lowest setting, even when unplugged from my computer. i'm certain it's not the sound...
in my perfect world these exist, however in real life they do not ....
yet.
do any companies plan on releasing these beasts?
i dont mind going single proc (A8N), but i'm still a dreamer.

i'm new to PCIe ... but, is it possible to get a board with more than one PCIe (16x) slot? i'd LOVE to have, say, three montors hooked to one box, but does a board exist that has 2 or even 3 16x PCIe slots? or am i just dreaming?
