Well, all 1MB L2 K8 (A64, AFX, Opteron) share the same die (with the same memory controller). But Cool'n'Quiet doesn't work with registered mem. And S940 CPUs only work with reg. mem, which was necessary to get dual channel working for the earlier K8 core revisions. Thus S940 AFX and Opterons...

Nice results. I add some benches to compare FX-53 with A64 3000+ to be able to map the FX-53 vs. 2500MHz AXP results to A64 3000+ results. If the AXP-M should be used for content creation or gaming, the A64 3000+ could be a better choice. I needed one because 64bit sw development is difficult...
