ya I agree software issue, could it be nvida chipset on mobo and ati video card? After updating nvidia driver chipset some things appear to be less fuzzy on desktop it could just be me, but things till dont appear to be as clear as they should and resolutions dont seem correct either.
did virus scan everything looks good, ran with latist version of pc cillin. the weird thing is, it isent a crash... it literally shuts down the game closes all windows and logg's off then turns itself off and stays off until I push the button to turn it back on.
Yes I do, it does not crash correct. I just got the PSU its brand new also and its 500W modular. Ill run a virus scan but unless the virus came with the video card It seems weird it would start the day I get it.
Hey guys,
I got my brand new HIS x800gto turbo in the mail. My resolutions dont seem to be quite right I.E. desktop icons are alittle fuzzy.... and in game during the game my computer will close the game (any game) all other windows and logg off windows, then my computer turns off. This has...
I dident know you had an SLI mobo. If you plan on keeping the mobo then you can only run dual geforce cards. Crossfire is just ATI's version of SLI but you can only run dual ati cards on crossfire and only run dual nvidia cards on SLI far as I know. If you ever plan on running 2 cards get the...
the HIS x800gto turbo i showed you is crossfire, same thing as nvidia's SLI only ATI.... for either youll need a compatable motherboard if you plan on running dual cards...
either way it will be cool to see what you end up wth, let us know
hey there, I was on the same budget and I got it down to a MSI geforce 6800GS that overclocks with included software that is covered under warrenty or a HIS Radeon x800gto turbo that also over clocks with included software and is covered under warrenty. I ended up buyin gthe x800gto, and right...
hey guys only got a few hours left to make a choice before midnight tonight on feb/14/2006. Any last thoughts or ideas would be xtremly greatfull! I am pretty much undecided bewteen the MSI 6800gs which is covered under warrenty when OCed or the HIS x800gto which is also covered under warrenty...
http://www.overclockersonline.com/index.php?page=articles&num=314&pnum=13 wow after looking at this makes me want to get the HIS x800gto even more! I just wish they would have benched it oc/ed againts a o/ced 6800!
as of yet I have yet to find a place that tells you how to unlock it, appears only the gto and 3d gto unlock, so unless I can unlock it the GS will smoke it?
I think its also worth saying that the above HIS x800gto does overclock 550mhz/1238mhz out of box easily and is covered under warrenty...
It seems as though the GS is a good safe bet and can be overclocked as well, at the same time I read this article comparing the gto2 and the his gto It seems as though the his does not have capability to unlock the pipelines as far as I can tell, despite its 480 core.
keep the thoughts and...
