    VM-Software for 32bits processor

Thank all. I forgot to mention that I tried to install VM-Player but got a warning that it could not install because of the 64bit processor requirement. Apparently this limitation doesn't apply to the payware versions of VMware?

    VM-Software for 32bits processor

Hi all, This looked like an easy enough bit of info to find on the net but surprisingly it wasn't... I have a laptop with a Intel T2080 processor that is really running well. I want to run a virtual machine on it to test our site. My processor has VT-x support but is not 64bit capable...

Searching, selecting and deleting multiple files

Thanks to both of you for the quick replies. Once they finished and I get the "go" I'll try it out.

Searching, selecting and deleting multiple files

Hello, I'm looking for free software that can find files based on the file-extension, create a list and then delete these files. Here is what I need it for: I'm volunteering for a non-profit organization involved in refurbishing tools for 3rd-world educational purposes. We have a drive...

i7-875K: what am i REALLY running at?

For me it's still a bit of a mistery. I have a i7-920 C0 on a P6T-DeLuxe and it will run 3.8 with turbo and HyperThreading (180x21) but it won't do 190x20... I believe it has something to do with the BCLK but haven't heard of people running into trouble already at 190. So turbo can also be...

    Motherf@%# . . . someone stole my bicycle!

Lol, used to go there quite often. Always tried to remember where I put it because if you don't you may as wel have it stolen. Otherwise, after three months, the police will store it for you and you can go to the "domeinen" to pick it up :) Bike 1: Batavus (belonged to my mother) Stolen at...

8800gts fixed from oven trick (pics)

Obviously 200*C because it shorted. As you can melt the solder to reconnect a broken connection you may aswell create an entirely new connection ;)

8800gts fixed from oven trick (pics)

Card: ASUS 7950 GT Baked in the oven for 10 mins at 200 degrees. Removel cooler, bracket and such. Result: A blown fuse on the group the computer was on. A burned out Enermax 400W PSU and probably an fried ASUS A7N-SLI mobo (haven't tested it yet). This is not without risk, folks!

    AT fermi review is up!

Most likely both. The drivers can't get the card into 2D power saving mode and there is something wrong with the chip itself aswell. Sounds like a rush job allright.

    AT fermi review is up!

It's a bug. Nvidia admitted it existed to complaining customers but not in public FAIK. They claimed more then a year ago that it was on the buglist but they never fixed it. No Nvidia cards can get into 2D power saving mode when a second screen is activated in Windows. It's not half as bad as...

    Difference between i7ee/i7/i5?

D0's do so at numerous occasions.

    i7 920 vs i5 750 (same price)

They aren't overpriced, they simply are better equipped. I thought the same thing but when I checked I noticed there are no really cheap 1366 mb's but there are for 1156. If you compare the features the difference in price is about 15 - 20 euro's. 860's are often a tad more expensive than 920's...

Should I go AMD or Intel for a new system?

I7's do more work per clock cycle than PII's. So much that at 2.66 GHz an I7 beats a PII at 3.4 GHz. Besides, the I7 has Hyper-Threading, the PII doesn't. For gaming this matters little because the emphasis is on graphics performance but if you need the processsing power without the graphics...
