Working with multiple windows on the same screen can be a hassle for many users, especially for those working on multiple projects simultaneously. However this problem can be solved by setting up a virtual desktop. Windows 10 allows us to work with multiple desktops at the same time. Here’s how to set up multiple desktops in Windows 10.

Step 1
Click On ‘Task View’

First, click on the ‘Task View’ button in the Taskbar. Alternatively you can press ‘Windows Key + Tab’. This will open up the task view area.



Step 2
Click On ‘New Desktop’

In the task view area, click on the ‘New Desktop’ option. This will create a new virtual desktop for you to use.



Step 3
Choose The Required Desktop

Once you have created multiple desktops, you can view them in the task view area. Click on the desired desktop to start working with it.



Step 4
Switch Between Desktops

To switch between the different desktops, follow the above steps to get to the task view area, and then just click on your desired desktop. Also, you can use the keyboard shortcut ‘Ctrl+Windows Key+Left/Right Arrow’ to switch between multiple desktops quickly and easily.
