Windows 10 has many built-in apps in order to accommodate all kinds of users. This is great for diversity, but the amount of apps can make your computer run slower than usual. To avoid this from happening and having a truly tailored experience with Windows 10 follow the steps in this tutorial and remove the apps that are not compatible with you.

Remove Built-In Apps

Step 1
Run Windows Powershell as an Administrator

Go to the search bar on your Windows 10 and write 'Poweshell'. Once the option comes up on the top of the menu right-click on it and choose 'Run as an Administrator'. This will allow you to make some changes in your operating system.



Step 2
Type the Command for the Correct App

Type the following commands for each app you want to remove from your Windows 10. By changing the name of the app, you can tell Windows which are the ones you want to have removed from your operating system. Below you will find a list of each of them and how to remove them.

Restore Built-In Apps

Step 3
Repeat Steps 1 and 2

After repeating steps 1 and 2 you will have Windows Powershell in front of you. Paste this command: Get-AppxPackage -AllUsers| Foreach {Add-AppxPackage -DisableDevelopmentMode -Register "$($_.InstallLocation)\AppXManifest.xml"} and Windows will restore the apps you have removed.
