Users might not want their Windows 10 PC to know their location round the clock. Windows 10 provides users with a way to enable or disable their location services. In addition, the user can also choose to disable locations services only for a particular user account or allow the location to be tracked for a specific application. Here is how you can turn off the location in the Windows 10 system.
Click the 'Windows' Icon
User can either click the start windows key on the keyboard or click the ‘Windows’ icon located at the left corner of the taskbar as shown below.
Select ‘Settings’ Option
You will find application and settings choices when you click the start windows icon. Scroll to find and click 'Settings’ option to customize the location settings of Windows 10 system.
Click the ‘Privacy’ Option
In the settings option, you will system, device, network, personalization, accounts, security and update related setting options. Click the ‘Privacy’ option as shown below.

Select ‘Location’ Option
In the left pane of the 'Privacy Settings' window, you will find the privacy settings related to camera, microphone, email, location, calls, etc. User has to click the ‘Location’ option.
Click the ‘Change’ Option
In the right pane of the 'Privacy Settings' window, you can find 'Location settings', the list of applications that allow or does not allow location as well as the location history. Under the location section, the user has to click the ‘Change’ option.
Disable Location Services
To turn off the location, the user has to click the move the slide bar to the left ‘Turn Off the Location by Clicking the Slide Bar' as shown below to disable the location services.
