Users can use the dock preferences settings to change the size of the icons in the Dock. Furthermore, the size of icons in the reposition and the folder can also be changes. Step 1
Select ‘Dock Preferences’

Firstly, you click the apple icon that is found at the top left corner in the menu bar of your Mac OS X screen. From the list of available choices, choose ‘Dock’ option. Now from its sub-options, choose ‘Dock Preferences’ to view dock settings.

Select the ‘Size’ of Dock Icons

Select ‘Position on Screen’

You can change the position of docker icons on your Mac OS X screen. In the docker preferences window, enable the checkbox for ‘Position on Screen’ by selecting either left, bottom or right options as shown below.
