What happens is that when you press the power button the screen stays off and the light that indicates that the laptop is on shows light, I also hear the laptop's DVD player turn on and the fan too
but the light that indicates that the hard drive is in use does not turn on
and sometimes, I don't even know why, but the PC turns on normally.
The screen turns on and shows the Asus logo, the HDD activity light turns on, the light that indicates if the laptop is on also turns on and you can hear the DVD player.
Windows starts, everything is normal but if I turn it off I have to be very lucky to turn it on again
I have tried holding down the power button and turning it back on, try without the battery and with the charger or just with the battery without the charger or with both
I did the hard reset of holding the power button for 40 seconds and the first time it seemed to work but then it didn't.
I do mention that the last time I turned it on it sent me to the bios and I don't know why.
