I'm close friends with the king of Bahrain. There, the secret is outDoes this explain the apparent hackery that has gone into those keys? ...and for what purpose? Please explain.

Yeah, but that still doesn't explain what looks to me like soldered bits on the back of that fob. What are those, and what does that have to do, specifically, with Bahrain sovereign wealth fund?McLaren was bought by the Bahrain sovereign wealth fund:

I know I'm not crazy in seeing those 4 nodes on the back that look like solder, connecting to what look like some workaround circuit (like someone modified a PS1, lol). It's not a McLaren design that I recognize...and uh it looks kinda garbage for a $500 piece of kit for a $200k car.Car arrived. Comes with two keys so it's only $250 per key. Great deal.

That's what I was saying in that post about why were the fobs hacked, what had to be soldered, or whatever.
I see lights over a dining table reflecting in the $500 automotive paint on the back of McLaren keys. You don't see the post that I linked...that you posted earlier?
Oh! It's a reflection?
It's like the old lady and the duck--I guess you goons see the reflection of a chandelier or something. I see some saudered bits with some circuits that were painted over. Think about it.
