That is only the name of the board, it is not a true AM2+ socket. Anandtech posted a review of the board:

I really do not care about split power planes, that will mostly be a power savings feature to servers; and I can live with HT 2.0. I would however, like a processor that could overclock like the current Intel chips. My 35% overclock of my 3800+ is decent, but we will have to see what the Phenom series of chips can do.
