Default Can you add chapters to an existing MKV file?

I would like to add chapters to an already encoded (x264) MKV file. Is it possible to create a external xml (or any file) that holds the chapter points that the mkv would reference?

as always, thanks!

Use mvkmerge GUI, it will have examples of how to do chapters as a xml or a simple text file.

Yeak, MKVToolnix/MKVMerge ( http://www.bunkus.org/videotoo...toolnix/downloads.html ) should allow you to add chapters.
http://www.mod16.org/hurfdurf/?p=8 <- guide with example chapter.xml files.
