Yeah but you also knew whatever was gonna happen would be awesome.

Wow, I have never seen anything like that before. That mud was thick. You could walk on it just fine, but once the wheel sank that was it. I am not sure why they didn't pull it from the other way, from the hill.
I loved the last quote by the driver, I think. "That's not good."
I don't think that is even salvagable now. The unibody mounts for the control arms were completely ripped out, I am sure, plus the shock mounts. I guess it's an excuse to hack it apart and build a super Jeep, long arms and no top.
Makes you wonder if it was set up. It seems pretty clear what's going to happen, well before it does. It seems pretty clear that it can't be pulled out that way, particularly after it almost tips over.

Thats what happens when you try to pull anything out of a sticky spot with a Ford.
Edit: Shit? Is it a Dodge? Please someone tell me thats not a fucking SINGLE stacked exhaust in the MIDDLE of that truck bed.. oh jesus, fucking rednecks.
Edit#2: At the end of the video you see the telltale signs of the gray plastic shit they put on the fords, so I'm guessing it's a ford. Still, what the fuck is up with that exhaust?

Any truck can sound mean. Trust me. Looked like a TD Ram, watching further to see for sure but the rear lights look like the Ram styling.

That's a Ford for sure.

I'm not someone who does this kind of thing, but wouldn't it have made a lot more sense to pull it out of the mud from behind, rather than from the front, where it looked like it would just get dragged deeper into the muck?

There's a few things they could have done differently, from digging at the mound in front of the wheel to stacking something underneath it to get it up and over what it was hanging up on. Any way you look at it trying to pull a vehicle out with momentum is never the safe way of doing it.

With that much carbon being spit out of that ridiculous stacked exhaust, it's definitely a diesel. Sounded like a TurboDiesel when it revv'd. Whenever you watch a diesel hit higher RPM's it spits out tons of black from the tailpipe.

Now thats just a huge misconception. That Ford has been modded and I wouldn't be surprised if it was one of those trucks capable of doing 13 sec 1/4 miles.

I don't claim to be a know it all expert on the subject, but I'm relatively confident I know a little something about modified trucks. Mine can do a 11.74 second quarter mile. =P
With that said, having a single stacked exhaust sticking out of what appears to be your truck bed is just downright redneck retarded.
