edit: found it again

He should run for the House if he really cares that much. Maybe that's what he's implying, and if so, can't fault him for doing for what he's really passionate about. Will be interesting to see where this story goes.

Not really. Seems like Gagne will get limited ice + PP time. If he's there to just take shots when Fraser/Nolan grind pucks off the boards this could be a solid improvement and add a danger to that line NJ isn't quite capable of dealing with. BUT WE SHALL SEE!!

5:00 pm LA traffic at its peak. I'm suprised the fans got in in time.

Oh and I hear Cartman has begun chanting

Congrats Kings. It will go down as the most impressive modern playoff run ever imo. To barely get into the POs and pull this off? I can't even be upset. NJ (nor any other team) had any chance to begin with. Enjoy the first one in 45, LA.

I'll take this scenario (seeing Marty having beaten Henrik on the biggest stage they could have possibly ever met on) than to have gone down against NYR in the ECF. Embarrassing... sure, but no more embarrassed than the entire western conference I guess.

You don't need to be a douche about it.

If he's a Rangers, or Flyers fan, it's okay. Many are still confirmed mad, which is the only thing making me happy right now.

ROFL! Brodeur showing his displeasure on his defensemen by clearing the puck over the blue line twice by himself instead of passing the puck to them.

Yeah I ain't even mad. It's not like we haven't had our share of success. If the Devils had never won anything, or had gone a really long time without winning anything and then made it to the finals only to lose, that would suck. If the Devils had been a dominant team all year and then fell short, that would suck. But this team exceeded expectations and then some. A successful season for us was supposed to be getting to the second round. Can't complain about losing in the finals (especially after humiliating the Flyers and denying the Rangers what they thought was rightfully theirs).

I was in Columbus for the first two games, watched the second game at a hockey bar. There was a decent number of Kings fans there, and I had a nice long talk about hockey with one of them during the intermission at the end of regulation. Nice guy, I'm glad he gets to see his team win the cup.

He should be. He doesn't deserve any of this. He seems like the only one who feels the win vs the Rangers wasn't good enough, which is odd considering the history he has with that team, and the enormous amount of hate directed towards him from that fan base. Everyone else is playing like that ECF was good enough.

This team needs to at least win one for Marty.

They're completely exhausted. Kovy is skating on one leg. That's what it comes down to.

Quick is the best goaltender in the league.

That may change sooner or later, but he's been that way all season...
