According to reports, the 290 mm2 GK104 chip shown in the pictures will be used in GTX650Ti and GTX 660 graphics cards, which will arrive with 448 and 512 activated stream processors, respectively, as well as a core clock of about 850 and 900 MHz. The first Kepler cards are expected to be announced next month.

Also they added:

What we gather from these pictures is that Kepler cards could be huge with potentially high power consumption. About a month ago, we published the full list of Kepler cards ranging from the GTX640 to the GTX690.

Time to go back into your holes secret ninja Nvidia fans.

Holy crap those comments are so ridiculous it's made my cheeks hurt from laughing so much. If I wasn't on my phone right now I would get screen caps to save and show other forums for a good laugh.

So gk104 is 512 core part, at 900mhz core with its hotclocks intact. This is actually more realistic, next-gen mid-range = previous gen high end + a bit.

lol aren't rumors fun?
I agree though it seems more reasonable, the real question is the 512 core part called the GTX680, which would be epically stupid, or are real GK100/110 coming soon (as in the coming months, not late Q3 or next year)?
But if it's based on GK104, wouldn't it have different core counts since GK104/114 are designed differently than GF100/110 and have more shader cores per cluster...
I dunno what to believe actually.

Lower temps, lower voltage, lower power draw. Why else would I post it after it was insinuated that I pay a lot for power?

Is that based on, which reported spec?
The 512 at 900 core or the 1500 at 700 core?
Seems to go against what the guy from [H] reported but who really knows at this point?

Why not plug your PSU power cord into a Kill-A-Watt and show the real VA or wattage drawn?
For example, I can make my PC do this.
A Single 2600K@4.9GHz and 7970@1225MHz

When we first started dating (I've always been an ATI guy, except I was having an affair with 8800 GTS - who didn't?) it was a subject we'd talk about. She was hardcore nVidia and AMD-CPU.
Ah to be geeky on a date...haha.
