It starts at $32k? Doesn't the Genesis sedan start at $33k? Why would someone purchase an Azera over the Genesis (other than RWD vs FWD platform)?

Looks like a Camry. Since they're targeting the ES, I guess that was what they were going for, but still...
The interior looks pretty good, though.

MSRP for a base Genesis sedan is $34,200. I'd assume the Azera comes with a little more stuff at the same cost, but I'd like it way more if it were sitting at $29K instead of $32K.

Probably the same reason someone goes for an Avalon or Maxima. The want a big floaty car with a lot of luxury features.

Looks exactly like the sonata from the front...I strongly prefer the looks of the genesis. In fact, I'm waiting to see what used prices look like when the suckers start to come off lease.

From the B pillar forward it looks a lot like the Sonata. Not that there's anything wrong with that.
I like the fact that it has a V-6. I wished that one was still available in the Sonata like it was for the last generation. The 2.0T in the current Sonata is plenty powerful, and has great mileage numbers, but I just still prefer the smoothness of a good V-6.

$33K almost fully loaded is a great price, I like that the car come equipped with Nav, leather, heated seats, 18" wheels, all standard.
Hyundai has stolen the Honda/Acura way of buying a car and it works well. Keep the packages to a minimum to reduce factory costs.
