Default ASUS P8Z68-V Pro: ROM update problem, "not EFI BIOS"

I downloaded the v606 BIOS and am getting a message that the file "is not a EFI BIOS" when I try to update with EZ. Any suggestions or insights as to what is wrong?

Format a USB stick Fat32
rename bios file to ASUS0606.rom (8 letters)
Place .rom on stick by itself in root - no folder - naked.

Thanks Bankster55. This did work. Curious that this isn't documented very well (if at all) on the ASUS support site.

Its not curious, its normal
The only important things you will learn about ASUS mobo will be on your own.
