ATI/AMD Radeon HD5450 Temperature?'s

I have an ATI/AMD Radeon HD5450 in my computer and it is a passively cooled card. I was wondering how hot should the cards heatsink be? (Right now it is so hot that I burned my hand after touching itI know idiot move)
but anyway that can't be good for the GPU chip I have a CM690 as the case and I have a 120MM fan on the side panel right where the card is (It is one of the POS fans the case came with)
So my final question is there a maxium temperature before meltdown (Like the TjMax for the CPUs) and has anybody rigged up a better cooling system for these cards?

Why don't you fire up gpu-z and show us the sensor page, so we can see how 'hot' it is.
Gpu-z has a screenshot/image host/forum feature, click on the camera.

I doubt the card will meltdown if it was made as a passive cooled card. If you are worried about the temps you could always apply better thermal paste on the gpu.

I already have a sensor gadget called GPU Observer
and the hottest I have ever seen this card at was
65/150 C/F
I think I have also located the problem (The POS CM fan was dead and as a temporary fix I installed an old Panaflow 80MM fan)

The CoolerMaster fans are quiet (So quiet I did not even notice it was dead) but move very little air My old school Original Japan made Panaflow moves more air them the OEM CM Fan

Anyway the card is now running at a toasty 100F and about 125F loaded
