Mouse not working in UEFI...?
I wanted to get into the UEFI and look around and now all the sudden my mouse doesn't respond?
Keyboard is fine but mouse arrow is just frozen on the screen...
P67 Sabertooth, 1253 bios...

Did it work before? If so, did it stop after flashing it?

Has the mouse changed? Try resetting the CMOS/restore default settings.

Could you have changed a setting that managed to affect it?

OK, a bit of googling shows that you're not the only one with these problems...
Are you using a wireless mouse?

You have the wrong attitude...it's the little issues that make this stuff FUN!!
Instead of having a computer that just works right...right out of the box, you get to keep tinkering!!
Have you tried reinstalling the Intel chipset drivers?
http://downloadcenter.intel.com/Deta...ility&lang=eng
(I think that's the right set for your board)

Thing is mouse worked before on original bios and 1253...
I don't wanna install 1204...
Guess I will just deal with it until better bios or mb comes out...

Sadly enough on my Asrock Fatal1ty board my deathadder doesn't like to work when in USB 3 ports. Works fine in the legacy ports, although the mouse itself works inverted in UEFI bios. Weird as hell. :/

I feel better and better about building a new rig with the 1156 components instead of waiting 3-4 weeks for Sandy Bridge to come out...
Will all these glitches get worked out in time? Certainly, but it's a PITA for those who wanted the newest and fastest...

Amen dude!
I am wishing I had gotten and XTREME processor now...kinda...a little...
The LEARNING is fun but...after nearly two weeks, I just want it to work right!

For your uses, the i7-extreme would have been overkill...and a huge waste of money.

Re mouse not working;
Have you checked that legacy USB devices is enabled?

I've tried on all I think...
Does one have a different marking than the other?

The USB 3 ports are probably light blue.

On your rear I/O panel, the USB 3.0 ports are the two blue ports next to your LAN cable port. All the rest of the USB ports (red & black) are USB 2.0.
