Default Best movie to test surround sound?

I've been having ongoing issues trying to get things perfected with my home theater, but I finally have it. I've played a few movies and was pretty meh, but just put in Sunshine and was very happy. I'm testing it with Bluray movies. Any other suggestions?

Racing games and chase scenes seem to work well too.

The helicopter flyovers in We Were Soldiers are interesting with a good surround setup.

Jurassic Park is an excellent test of a sound system (surround, dynamics, LFE, the works)

I've actually been meaning to watch that again, adding it to the Netflix queue.

Max Payne is showing huge improvement with surround sound. At least in the sound category.

The best 'reference' is the THX "Amazing Life" trailer. That IMHO gets more recommendations for testing surround sound features.

I always use the 100-mile dash scene from The Incredibles.

The Bourne car chase scenes can be pretty solid.

Also, although very short, the opening explosion from Swordfish has plenty of "WOW" to it.

Gladiator. There are two scenes in particular...one is the arrow barrage, the other is when they take Russell Crowe out to kill him. In the fight scene he grabs a sword and throws it...if your system is set up, you should hear it come from over your left shoulder and finish in front of you on your right. Its pretty amazing with all the horses, etc.

Good recommendations above also

Saving Private Ryan without a doubt. It won 5 Academy Awards for sound and sound mixing.

Oooo, forgot about SPR. Haven't seen the blu ray, but I just set up my HT in my new place, might be a good movie to grab and test out .

BTW: If I recall, the mix for Master and Commander, one of the more widely used reference discs for DVD, was majorly gimped in the blu-ray edition. Can't remember where I saw it, but just putting it out there.

Also, haven't seen this mentioned yet. The new Star Trek film is absolutely amazing in Blu Ray. All you have to do is look at the perfect score it received over at AVSForum to know that its great for sounds
