how would you stretch out an elastic waist band?
so, I fucking hate elastic.
I bought an awesome sweater online recently, and was dismayed to find out when I took it out of the package that it had elastic cuffs/waist band.
stretching out the cuffs was easy enough (stretched them out over a double cd case and left it like that for a week... destroyed any elasticity that the bands had) but I can't figure out what I can use to stretch the waist out.
it's like a size or two too big, so it's not a matter of "omg fatty," it just looks bad to have the sweater be loose around my stomach and then fitted where the band is.

This is the most enjoyable way. Might I suggest soul food?
