Default nVidia : Annoucement Monday morning, 9am PST

I follow nV on Facebook and they just threw up a post saying a big announcement is coming. Anyone heard anything or know of when more NDAs lift?

Big Bang III! Fermi is actually already out and running in your computer. Go check!

Seriously, though, I wonder if it will be Fermi related. I can't imagine it would be good news about the release date, but who knows?

I predict JHH will come out and perform "I'm a little tea pot".

Seriously I hope we get some real info. I'm getting tired of all the rumors.

I doubt they would call something a "major announcement" if it was bad news. Companies just don't (willingly) do that.

It's going to be release date and pricing info. And perhaps they'll say when "Fermi Day" aka the reviews, will hit the web.

I have a feeling it's going to be about the dates for availability and pricing of Fermi... Then not far behind is the lift of the NDA.

Damn tviceman beat me to it

I have a feeling that this announcement will announce another announcement in 3 weeks time, which will announce another announcement in 3 weeks time, which %loop until fermi is ready% will announce fermi's release date.

Maybe they'll announce how awesome PhysX and Cuda is again?

I know it's not all about shaders but ATI has 1500 of them on their top card. nVidia has 512 with their furbie fermi whatever they call it. soo ya we need benchmarks on this one.
Tweakboy, you have been told over and over that
A) There is no ATI part with 1500 shaders and

B) Nvidia shaders and ATI shaders are different and do not scale on a one to one basis.

Can we please re-ban this troll?

If this turns out to be Fermi release date/pricing/benchmarks and it's a March hard launch, you can bet Charlie's recent article had a lot to do with the decision to finally deliver some official news.

Think about how many people have read that article. Bullshit or not, it's a doubt caster. How many would give up and just buy ATI.

Okay nV, I'll be tuning in..
