Default My fire alarm is beeping every 30 seconds....

My fire alarm (a circular pad on my ceiling) is beeping every 30 seconds. Does this mean there it is detecting a very slow fire?

Mine was doing that. I just took out the battery and that made it stop.

Self destruct is two beeps per second, each interval of increasing pitch and volume.
