Default Would you steal another man's wife?

Assume you meet a married woman. Something about her makes you attracted at all levels to her. Her marriage is not good but not bad either, just okay. They argue and have the typical marrital problems. Would you willing to convince her that she's on the recieving end of bad deal? Get her to have doubts about her husband faithfulness while at the same time stroking her ego. Would you?

That's terrible! Absolutely NOT!

(Switching the male and female roles in the example - as I am a female.)

I have been on both ends of the question.
One question you have to ask is it worth the pain that will ensue?
How could you trust the person or how could that person ever really trust you?

At the end of the day how would you feel if a home wrecker came in and helped himself to your wife?:Q

No! If there is a hell, I'm pretty certain you would go there for that.

A homewrecker is not what I am.

At least I wouldn't convince someone to leave their spouse, that would be all up to her, on her own terms.

<Putting on my sensitive male hat for the moment>

You can't "steal" another man's wife. She is a free person, free to make her own decisions as to whom she wishes to keep company with.

<end sensitive male mode>

No. I honor other people's marriage vows, even if they don't.

What if she was thinking about leaving him (but... she hasn't made up her mind yet)? Would it be okay then?

Yeah, the big thing is that she is leaving someone who she stood in a church and vowed to God she would never leave and now she is leaving the dude to be with you. You can't trust someone like that... ever.

I think saying yes... well, it says a lot about the character of a person.

Probably not but it depends on the woman I guess...oh, and the fact that I'm married probably precludes me from ever considering this.

The question is, would you like to get married, and then have somebody steal your wife?

What if she not only wanted to leave him, but he had cheated on her repeatedly?

The homewrecker doesn't just help himself. Hell if the woman is able to be convinced to cheat on her husband then everyone is a potential homewrecker. She's the one who made the commitment not him.

Oh and I can't really say for sure what I'd do. Probably convince myself that she was better off with me...

No. I have slept with a married (but separated) woman, and in hindsight I wish I hadn't, and wouldn't do it again. It's funny, I've developed close, flirtatious friendships with a few married women, but I would never have slept with them.

Absolutely not, but I'd certainly blame her more than the guy she cheated with.

If she cheats on him, what makes you think she won't cheat on you.

How about just 'borrowing' her instead

In all accounts, it's just wrong to wreck someone's marriage.
