I think you failed at life  . j/k. It's probably because you opened too many connections. Set the limit lower.

From what I've seen, I don't think peers distinguish between those that upload and those that don't.

My Bittorrent keeps freezing once it starts downloading at high speeds...
My system used to reboot when I was downloading from BT at high speeds. Problem went away after a fresh install of windows.

I just downloaded Azerus and it's running at 110kB/s with no problem. Wonder if it was just a BitTornado issue.

my bt would lock up the pc too. i'd find it rebooted often and i surmised ti was a bt issue

limit the amount of connections it can make. it's probably trying to make more connections than your router can handle.

No you are correct. In my experience, if you limit your upload too much your downloads will be slower.
