Default How to find root directory in XP?

As in bold in this paragraph....How to find root directoryon the XP CD...

Quote:
To create a slipstreamed Windows XP-SP2 CD, first create a new folder called "xp" in the root folder of your hard drive. (You'll need about a gigabyte of free space.) Insert your original Windows XP CD, start Windows Explorer, and then navigate to your CD drive (usually \). Highlight everything in the root folder of the CD and copy it all to the Cxp folder you just created.

lol: Root is not an actual folder named root.

It's the 'directory' which contains everything. If your CDROM is , your root is \

I have an auto body/paint shop. I fix and paint wrecked cars.

Maybe I can't do alot with puters but then again, how many of you can fix and paint a wrecked late model automobile?

BTW, I just finished fixin' up my personal pickup. New motor, transmission, changed color (inside and out) . Did all the work myself.

Pics soon!

LOL
