Default Tanger Outlet Pronunciation Question

Having a debate as to the proper way to pronounce "Tanger" as in the chain of factory outlets. Does anyone know (for sure) how to say it?

I'm sure I'm wrong but I say it's "TANG-er" (like the fruit drink)

She says it's "TAN-jur"

Or are we both wrong and it's "TAN-gur"?
