Default Where to buy inexpensive solid color t-shirts?

Due to how dirty I can get at work, I try to just buy plain solid color t-shirts. I need to find a place that sells them fairly cheap but not crappy quality and dare i say it...in bulk? I seem to go through these shirts pretty quickly, usually by spilling some sort of food on them.

If they have inexpensive shirts with designs, that would be cool too.

Where do you live? I'm sure local dollar stores will have them now and then...you can find cheap t-shirts all over NYC. I'd suggest finding a good Fruit of the Loom or Hanes dealer online and just ordering 20.

I didn't search Amazon, but they may have what you're looking for.

Back in the day I'd go to a sports/shoe store in the mall and they'd have cheap(ish) solid-colored shirts (but not in bulk).

I don't know if you'll find 10lbs of shirts.

Solid polo shirts used to be 9.99 at academy. quality is meh, but you wont find a solid color tee for much cheaper.

i stand corrected, those are some good prices.

Those are only good if your torso is shaped like an alternator.

i got a few at target.

'cherokee' brand, i think they were like 8 bucks a piece or something.

no pockets, no logo anywhere.

its even hard to see the logo after a few washes on the inside of the shirt (no tag)

so, i usually end up w/ it on backwards first.

Umm, buy some shirts then charge them back to your place of work via expenses.

I've ordered several times from them; their shipping structure makes them not great for tiny orders but if you're ordering a bunch like I do, they're pretty cheap and have excellent selection.

edit: In fact, I'm wearing one of these right now.

Old Navy has solid black t-shirts for about $5.00 apiece, if I recall correctly.

The one you linked is 100% cotton - does it shrink much? If I normally wear a large, should I order a large?

Michaels, the crafts store, sells solid color t shirts for like $3.50.

Last year I had a job where we could wear anything we wanted but we usually got sweaty during the shift.
Went to Walmart and bought a dozen of the Hanes Beefy T tee-shirts for about 3 bucks each.
They even had pockets.

Depends on the brand. The Gildans I got last time around shrank a little but less than the Beefy Tees. I did buy a full size up expecting them to shrink a full size - they're still a *smidge* too large.

The site sells poly blends too - I just prefer 100%, personally.

I placed an order and received it last week. I've very pleased with the quality of the shirts. I ordered mostly the one you linked, but also a few samples of other weights and brands and the 50/50 blend. I haven't washed them yet, but so far I'm happy with the shirts. I looked through my current t-shirts and found some screen-printed Gildan shirts, so based on those I bought my regular size. They fit perfectly without washing, and they are pre-shrunk cotton so I think they'll be fine (I dry on low heat anyway).
