Default How to keep a duvet from moving around inside a duvet cover?

Every freaking night when I go to bed, my wife somehow manages to suck the duvet onto her side of the bed, with some strange duvet sucking gravitation. Not the whole cover mind you, just the duvet inside. So I'm left with an empty portion of the duvet cover (picture a comforter shell with nothing inside), and she's all nice and toasty in her freaky duvet sucking gravitational zone. :beer:

I need to either;

A) Restore some form of gravitational duvet sucking power to my side of the bed; or in the alternative;

B) Figure out a way to keep the duvet firmly seated to all 4 corners of the duvet cover.

I assume B would be easier, but well, I dunno.

I suppose Google would have been the smart way to approach this issue, but well, i'm a beaten man.

They don't work. We ended up taking the cover off.

Strip wife naked, use clothes as blankets. When she wakes up, bang wife, take her covers as she lays there in heaven.

A decently designed duvet cover and duvet, usually a set, should have ties and loops. That's how mine was, but then again I purchased a silk duvet and and cover from Hong Kong. Quick fix? Sew them on yourself! Yay!

You could try safety pinning the corners.

we use some kind of clips from BB&B - not the ones in the above link, but some round ones. Been using them for four years, and they work well.

I just have sheets which I don't go under, and I use a blanket or additional sheet (non matching usually) to sleep with on top

Just sew on some straps and tie it inside.

Put these together, and you're in Fetish Country.

Strap-ons and tie-downs.....

When you realize your wife has stolen the duvet cover, drag the duvet cover over so the duvet is on you and the duvet-less part is on the floor next to the bed. She can freeze.

You can also sew some decorative buttons on the duvet and button hole the cover.

Most people I know refer to the inside as being the comforter, and the cover as being the duvet. That is how most if not all retailers in the U.S sell it as. Atleast this is what I noticed when I got my cousin a down comforter and duvet cover as xmas gift a few years back.
