Default what is the difference between a supervisor password and a bios password

my epox mobo has an option or both. What is the difference between the two?

I may be mistaken, but I think the BIOS password just prevents you from getting into the BIOS, while the supervisor password prevents you from booting the system at all unless you enter it.

Can both be cleared using a jumper on the motherboard?

Most motherboards come with a small book that answers these questions. They call it a manual. If not, you can certainly download the .PDF off of Epox's site.

All CMOS settings can be cleared by depowering the CMOS. Which is what the clear cmos jumper on motherboards does.

Yes on most desktops. No on most laptops.

The BIOS password comes first - then the Supervisor's Windows password. If you don't do BIOS, you will never get to Windows'.

Unless you are sharing a PC with others and it is in a rather public place with open access - I recommend using neither. Leave both blank if yo8u are the sole user in your own home.
