Ah, nothing like the internet to show your stupidity to the world
I'm not a golfer... so can you explain it to me?

lol apparently no one on ATOT gets it either.
The author of that blog is dumb because daylight savings time ENDS in the fall, and starts in the spring, not vice versa. The blogger has it backwards.

Um.... Chris.... I think it's you that doesn't get daylight savings time... In the fall, DST ends, which means that Arizona is now on the same page as the rest of the country. In the spring, DST begins for the rest of the country, which gives us more sunlight in North Carolina after 7PM, so I can get in a quick 9 after work; while if I worked in AZ, I'd be SOL, since even in that sunny state, I'd be hard-pressed to get 9 holes in before 6:30AM, and sunset happens earlier in the evening. Been in AZ during the time of year that the rest of the country was on DST; got up with the sunrise at 5:30; and packed up the outdoor sporting equipment by 7:30 - NOT FUN.....

His article said:
"By ignoring the stupid "Fall Back" end of Daylight Savings Times rules that everyone else (except for Hawaii and a few kooks in Indiana) followed this weekend, Arizona allows hackers to get in a good chunk more golf. And everyone else to see the sun when they can actually get out in it."

Mary, usually you'd be dead right to question any journalist's grasp of math. But on this one, you're as lost as Cindy Crawford at Harvard.
Let me break it down for you, as the kids say. When it's 6 p.m. in Arizona, it's 5 p.m. in Las Vegas, California and every other place on the West Coast. Hence when it's getting dark, it's an hour later on Zona's clocks.

Then to try and justify his initial mistake he tries to pretend that Arizona is in the same time zone as California. ROFL

The only thing better than being stupid is repeatedly defending stupidity.
check the comments on the bottom of the page!! Just a minor funny, but funny nonetheless.
It's actually "Daylight Saving Time." There is no "s" in it.
