stormwind - > ironforge via tram (in dwarven district)

ironforge -> dun murough -> loch modan ->wetlands

menethil harbor is in the western side of the wetlands

take boat from menethil to theramore or auberdine which are both in kalamindor

option 2

pay a mage to teleport you to darnassus (50s - 1g normally)

if you do the second option make sure you pick up the flight path in ironforge so if you go back through menethil than you don't have to walk back to ironforge since there is a direct flight from menethil to ironforge

walking from menethil to iron forge is a long walk especially if you dont know where you are going so try to avoid it if possible.

technically you can jump from the dam down to menethil. sure you die, but you save 30 minutes.

I had to do it once, to get the flight path. Not too bad, it's all on a path, just one or two branches, and all signposted. But yeah, took about 20 minutes.
