I'm planning to buy this as a gift for someone, but the Costcos i've been to package this monitor with a CPU.

I only checked the Almaden Costco in San Jose, any Bay Areans have any luck finding this selling for a single unit nearby? And for how much?

Costco is selling as package. I went to Costco in Northridge, CA and they are bundled.

Circuit City has it on sale and in stock as of today. Check online.

I asked a CostCo electronics specialist about the Gateway 21", only certain larger flagship stores carry them. So not all CostCo warehouses carry this beautiful LCD.

Best Buy - $599 retail
CostCo - $539 (confirmed in Hillsboro, Oregon)

Just bought this LCD this past weekend. I love it so far, don't have any issues with it either, no dead pixels or buzzing or anything. Also over at HardForum, they recommended creating a custom resolution and refresh rate@75Mhz. 75Mhz is the actual recommended refresh rate but for some reason, windows does not detect this by default. Anyway, great monitor!

$599 CDN at futureshop? what futureshop are u talking about? Its $699 at futureshop.ca!!

I am probably going to jump on the 699 deal with some xmas money, yay merry christmas everyone!

however...what i need to know is what is a good quality but not overly priced DVI cable to purchase for this unit? I have read through some of the posts on the HardForum thread but i havent found a specific cable mentioned and i dont wanna read through all 5 million posts there, lol. Can't recall if a specific cable was mentioned in this thread either.

Thanks you guys!

Merry Christmas
