Default Card Identified------Help me identify this Nvidia Card. **Pics Added**

Standard looking Nvidia card with retail HS/Fan. Two memory heatsink spreaders on the top side. One DVI and One 15-pin connector.

On the reverse is a sticker that says:

VGA Card(180-P0032-0100-A)

And below that: E-G012-01-1494(b)
2001.08

The only information I could google up was about a Geforce II Ultra. Is that what this thing is? Pretty sure I'll have one on the FS/FT if that's the case. Thanks, -Tal

I think it's a Geforce 3. But of course, a pic would be easier to say.

Why not just swap it into a system and see? Maybe use a program like Sisoft Sandra to read the BIOS information. That should tell you everything about it.

Pics added. Creig's suggestion noted. I have a mess in my lab area where I would do this as I'm working on a few other people's computers right now.

This is a pull from a dell workstation by the way. If that helps any. I couldn't find anything about it on Dell's site. Ahhh... Guess I can put my teleworking on hold and go install that new PSU for one of the PC's I'm working on. That should clear up some space. Maybe I can just boot the FC3 DVD. That should tell me the model right? As Anaconda boots the installer?

Why not just put fan and heatsink off to read what it says on the chip?

Yup, my friend, that is a bonifide GeForce3. Don't think its a GF3 Ti though. If I were to say, I would say its a standard, plain-old GF3.
